This crock pot recipe makes it so simple to make ahead of time, then you just heat it up and keep it warm for your open house party, Christmas Eve, tree trimming or when those carolers stop by!!

Make sure your house is decorated to the nines, invite all your friends and family and wear your Christmas flip flops!  Hey, I live in Houston where it’s actually possible…

Creamy Crock Pot Hot Chocolate

  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups milk &/or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • dash of salt

Directions:

  1. Pour all ingredients into crock pot and mix well.  Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

  2. Now…for adult versions….set the liquor bottles next to the crock pot with a shot glass and let everyone try these to find their fave…SO good….

  3. Add coconut rum for an Almond Joy!  Peppermint Schnapps…..Vanilla Vodka….Raspberry Liqueur….Kahlua….  Endless possibilities!!
